I felt a thorough review of my website was necessary as the main pages had not been updated for a while. So I have recently extended and re-written the sections on recorder types and added some new photos. For the moment, I am resisting the temptation to go more hi tech, because I feel the quirky nature of this website nicely reflects the way I am. However I do understand that today's web-surfing public demand an little more than a few photos and the odd MP3, so I might have to review the situation sometime...
I have started a small gallery of MP3 files which I feel illustrate and show the possibilities of my instruments. I hope to be able to add to these over the next year and eventually feature all the models I make. These are can be downloaded for private use via the link in the menu; please be sure to credit the performers for any public broadcast, or professional use.
A list of all my articles is now accessible via this link, along with a collection of external links to sites offering the material.
My waiting list at the time of updating is currently about 4 years, meaning most instruments ordered now should be delivered by the end of 2011. However this does depend on the instrument type, with Denner baroque altos in a-415Hz and consort recorders having the longest waiting time (2012), and my "Dolcimelo" altos and sopranos, as well as the new Bressan model alto having the shortest. Please read my thoughts about waiting lists and orders under the page "terms and conditions". This is not the usual collection of get out clauses and legal niceties but some explanation of the problems of dealing with long waiting lists and shifting orders.
I have got rid of my complicated order form I now ask just for a description of the instruments needed. I will then communicate with you about your personal requirements. I do not take any deposits for orders, again please read this page before ordering.
